starting off the first sunday of 2024 with a good brunch from PS CAFE

Tell me i'm not the only person who feels that 2023 has passed too quickly and 2024 came too fast. I haven't digested December and Christmas came. When I was still mesmerizing about how beautiful Christmas was, new year came. Now that I'm still trying to change my habit of writing 24 on my diary from 23, the first sunday just came by and what... everyone is preparing for the chinese lunar new year?!

Nevertheless, I got to say that thankfully all's been well. I thought it would have been worse but it's still not that bad.

Have you listed down your goals for the year? I have plenty and it's really stressful when I focus on what I want to have or who I want to become. Pressure is real but it's still vital to keep those visions clear.

Been loving doodling after I became an art teacher last year. Looking up Pinterest for more ideas and drawing them feels quite relaxing.
Perhaps another thing to get in 2024 is an Ipad and the Apple Pencil.

As we age, we become so conscious of what we do or say online. Sometimes we lose some of our authenticity trying to blend into the social cloud. I wished I was more bold but on the other hand it felt safer now. Can't believe that I'm out of the Instagram craze already. Many people talked about how social media had impacted their mental well-being and I can attest to that. So for the sake of getting better, not comparing so much with others online and spending so much time unhealthily, I bid goodbye to the IG that I have been using for the past good 10 years.

We decided to have our late lunch at PS cafe after the first Sunday service at MBS few days back. Gosh, the children loved the truffle fries and us adults cleared the mains off the plate soon enough :)
I missed cafe-hopping for the longest time. And believe it or not, this expensive hobby had hung around for a decade in Singapore! One of the famous cafes in Singapore is PS. Cafe. I have to say they really have the BEST TRUFFLE FRIES! Thank god, the children appreciate this yummy fries as much as I do. From my understanding, not all children can accept the truffle taste. So I'm lucky!

We ordered a kids' cheeseburger which came with fries, big breakfast and curry duck meat stew.

If you are visiting Singapore for the first time, do visit this cafe!

Lastly, my new year resolution for this space here is that I hope to be sharing more personal journeys or adventures here - for sharing and I'm looking forward to having collaborations with businesses!
